NFL Bans Daniel Defense Commercial for the Super Bowl

Apparently Daniel Defense recently submitted this 60 second ad for the Super Bowl. It was ultimately rejected by the NFL as it related to firearms. If you watch the commercial, there is no mention of firearms during the entire ad. Daniel Defense gets it's plug in at the end with an outline of a rifle. Check out the commerical for yourself:

Guns and Ammo has an article about the entire commercial here:

Sounds like I will not be watching the Supper Bowl this year. How do I add this to me Facebook page?

It seems that less and less organizations and companies will openly support the 2nd Amendment. It's a disturbing trend.

So I'm watching the Superbowl and I just saw an ad for some Fox tv show showing a guy walking and racking the slide back on a pistol obviously conveying some violence is about to go down . What hypocrites !

Does this really surprise anyone? The NFL probably did a big favor for DD. I doubt that any increase in revenue would have offset the cost of an ad during the Super Bowl. It's not like "gun" T.V. advertisements are a major part of their (manufacturer's) ad budgets. Ever seen a guy proudly displaying his scoped Ruger .44mag, proudly standing over a huge buck, on a major network? One of the smaller cable channels, yes, but not a major network or company. The outcry from both sides of the fence wouldn't be worth the effort and aggravation. Hypocritical? Yes. Unexpected? Then it's time for a reality check.
