Don't waste your money on a 90 dollar soldering iron. Get yourself a $15 25W iron and a $10 lamp dimmer. I do this kind of stuff with that setup: (using tips I fabricate myself)

Wow good stuff man! How do you get the straight outlines you outline it with a knife shape tip first?

I spend a lot of time on my lines. If there is one thing that stippling has taught me, it is that the most important part of aesthetics is symmetry in lines and contours. I alternate between several very fine tips of my own design to accomplish what you see.
I am giving away a couple free texture jobs HERE if you're interested in seeing my work up close.

    Other hobbies.

Very much into fishing, more so than my guns probably. Orioles baseball. Hunting, wakeboarding, bicycling, motocross, and my wintertime thing is skiing. Crimson Tide and Seahawks football. Used to be pretty into turbo'd Hondas. Have since shifted my focus to the my Ecoboost F150. Also used to be into golf, still would be but don't have the time working second shift.

We're coming up on watersports season. Boat's not in the water yet, but next week or so.

    Plus the bikes...

I have a DR-Z 650 exactly like that that I'm trying to sell.

And you are correct, water sports are around the corner. Ready to roll.

It's a great bike...always loved the thumpers....the bigger the better. In the absence of RPM's, torque is the name of the game in the dirt. This thing has monster torque, but to get it usable as an off-road bike I basically took it apart and started over.

Anyone into fly fishing? I'm big into fishing with conventional tackle, but I'm thinking of giving fly fishing a go.

I used to do it with my grandfather before he passed away. Haven't done it since then. I really enjoyed it. There is a skill to it and it takes a little time to perfect the casting
