Is the trigger guard connected to the grip?

While I absolutely love my DDV4, I have to say that their new grip options didn't really impress me very much. The addition of rubber onto the grips just felt "gimmicky" and trying to grab a solid hold on the grip placed my hand WAY too high on the gun, kind of like i needed to shoot it with my middle and ring fingers...
I liked the stock; solid, comfortable on the shoulder, but just get rid of the rubber. eventually it will start to dig into your face, especially when its cold out...
Even though they had several FDE rifles at their booth, what they were trying to push color wise is what they called their custom color, MilSpec+. looked like everyone else's Tungsten or Sniper Grey, but very classy. I really liked the color but I was hoping that they would have gone with a Kryptek pattern with the grey... That would have been nice.
Nice guys at the booth for the 2 days that I talked with them. One of the guys talked me through the process of how the Hammer their barrels and they had the demos of the steel in its various stages in the process. really cool.

Surprised not to see DD not release a keymod rail like everyone else.
