Pic request for Stickman

Do you happen to have a pic you could post of an middy AR carbine with a 9" LaRue rail and stock FSB? I have a rail (take a wild guess--yep, a LaRue 9") on the way from a member on another site (don't really need it but the price was waaaaay too good to pass up) and am trying to figure what my AR will look like with it installed.

I saw that and was playing around but for some reason I couldn't figure out how to "build" a combo with the stock FSB and a 9" rail. Stock FSB and a 7" rail was no problem but the middy just wouldn't work.

I believe your talking about a special 9" rail that allows for the FSB to poke throgh the top portion and I think that one is available on the profiler. If not, just start from scratch and add the FSB before you add the rail and it will look pretty much the same. good luck

Nope--I have a midlength gas system on my Sabre M5 and so a 9" rail on that will fit just like a 7" rail would fit on a carbine-length system. Here's a pic--the barrel is 16" long so there's 9" of space between the front of the delta ring and the back of the FSB:

I figured as much--middies aren't too common just yet so they're probably not the first thing folks think of when they hear "AR-15 carbine."

The vast majority of pictures that I post are of my own weapons configured in ways that I find interesting, with accessories that I own. Because they are items I own, the rails tend to be Daniel Defense.
