My UCWRG grip has gone through like 4 different patterns and this is the latest. Wanted something ''tree bark-like'' and this is what I got. Needs practice.

And I did my MOE handguard.

Finished this up a few days ago and took some quick cell phone snap shots. Plan on taking glamour shots once new sights come in.

I'm interested in seeing how the texture wears over time.

How's it feel in the hand?

Here's one of my personal weapons. Its got a trigger guard undercut, mag release bevel, and a med/aggressive texture package applied.

The stippling feels close to a rough 15-20 LPI checkering. Its definately sharp right now, it will be interesting to see how it feels after a year.

Almost two years ago now, I did my glock in a similar way to the one Battle Cock posted. The texture has mellowed out a lot since then. like going from 300 grit sandpaper to 800.

I've done some of those before. I'm pretty sure I have a picture or two up on my Facebook.

Yeah, stippling does tend to form fit a bit. If your texture feels too aggressive and you don't want to wait then you can "sand" it with a hard smooth object and light pressure to take some of the edge off.
