I went a different route than most guys do. Instead of that dividing line being the existing recessed one, I instead cut new borders to change up the grip area and create raised dividing lines.

Thought some of you might like to see the rough state of these frames after rough shaping.
It also gives you a sense of how much work goes into transforming them from a brick into something ergonomically and aesthetically pleasing.

Grip Stippling Thread
Decided to turn this one into a personal build to try out some different methods. This is a more aggressive version of fishnet. It's more efficient to apply but it isn't quite as pretty. I'm probably still going to lop off the front rail stud and contour the second but I'm waiting on my new slack belt sander to get here.

I refined the texture a little. It's definitely more tactile than Fishnet, but it's like her rougher trashier sister. Quick and easy.
