But to answer your question, I am not sure yet. I have only used Magpul MOE grips and the standard A2 grips. It feels thicker in my hand and I am not sure if I like it or not. When it is attached to the lower I get better and more consistent trigger finger placement.

I am gonna have to wait till the build is done to run some drills before I can give you a solid report.
Since you've used the MOE and A2 grips, is the MFT more vertical?
I've been himming and hawing about ordering a new grip too (K2) and didn't know about this one. If it's of the more vertical flavor it looks nice.

Good job on the stippling too. I like it.

I personally don't feel that it is that much more vertical and looking at it, it doesn't look to be that much more vertical. It feels different that is for sure. I will have to finish the build and run some drills with it for awhile to have an honest opinion about it.

Here is a quick pic of the three lowers we have:
    Top: S&W M&P 15 with MOE grip
Middle: Umbrella Corp with Hogue Overmold grip
Bottom: Northtech Defense with MFT grip

Yeah, it's looking about the same.

I really wish Hogue would come out with an AR grip with the same angle as their AK grip. I love their AK grip.

Shewt man, I have enough of a waiting list and I'm too short on time to charge much less than $50 for a job like that!

Decided to get off my butt and celebrate the 4th by filing down my g19 frame. before and after shots.

I worked the trigger guard undercut a little more and evened out the front and the back, but I think tomorrow I'm going to get some rough grit sandpaper, staple it to a piece of wood and even everything out 100%. That being said, I'm pretty happy with the way the project came out. Makes a surprisingly big difference in how the frame feels in my hand.

Now I just need some high-speed milling on the slide

schambers, that looks really good. I really like the smaller stippling patterns. Looks professional!
