This is only going to get used while at the range or during competitions. That's why I was leaning towards something to go on a belt.

In that case, the ITW FastMag or FAB Defense mag pouch would work.

Ready Tactical AR mag pouches, purchased from SKD Tactical (skdtac.com). Easy on/off, allows bullets forward or rear, tension adjustable with hair dryer (I've never needed/bothered to, but I know some people can't resist the urge to filddle-fart with their gear).

I use kydex ones that I've made myself. Kydex is very easy to work with.
