The others you're comparing it to are aluminum also. A PMAG 40 is just $18.95 and you 10 extra rounds instead of 5.

One thing I've always wondered about the mag extensions, but I keep forgetting to ask, is don't you need a longer spring to get reliable feeding after they're installed?

The dust covers are cool, but a lot of the other things I've been unimpressed with. Almost seems like they want to make anything and everything they can to try and compete on the cheapest possible scale. I've heard the charging handles are to be pretty sweet for $20

Their hk416/mr556 handguard are pretty nice.

I could only get an extra 4 rounds in my 20 round pmag...It does fit nice...have not tested it yet
