V7 Multi Purpose Rail (MPR) 13.5"

V7 is producing a new rail for the market. The MPR or Multi Purpose Rail. Like most V7 products, this is a weight reduction driven design. It appears they've made cuts and removed material where they could to keep it at 12.6oz. Picatinny rails are machined at the end of the rail, much like the Geissele MK4, and there are 2 QD sockets on either side. The barrel nut does not need to be timed for installation. Check out V7 for more information on the rail and other weight saving designs.

The barrel nut looks strangely similar to other designs.
