You can either remove the BCG extension from the BCG then separate as you usually would, or leave the BCG extension in place then push the takedown and pivot pins and move the upper forward and up at the same time. The BCG will clear the end of the lower this way as well.

Here's this pistol lower on the left compared to my SBR lower with the stock in the 4th position on a 6 position tube.

What is the lock up like on it? Does it have the typical play found in folders like an AK?

No wobble. The hinge is hefty and the latch, all metal, locks securely. Nice machining all around. Looks just about impossible to accidentally pop the release.

The only downside I see to the LAW Tactical is the fact it adds a few inches to the overall length when I'm shooting. I usually shoot with the stock collapsed all the way or on the first notch, so for me the added length is noticeable.
Good piece of gear for packing your SBR. Not for everyone at a few hundred bucks.

I am really glad I found this site. I have been considering the LAW in a big way. But I am planning an entire build around it so I am very glad I read through this.

Cool piece but I wonder what the length of a MK18 with this folded is? Maybe around 21"? When transporting my 14.5" broke down it's around 24". For me I guess I'd rather have a stamp.

I definitely want one but I'm not sure I can justify the $220. 0_o

i used it on my already obscenely expensive AR pistol.... It does exactly what i wanted it to do.
1. I can fit the whole pistol in a compact box now, no need to assembly a upper and lower. I can also backpack carry if needed.
2. It adds to the LOP in a good way IMO. With the sig brace and longer pistol buffer tube, it's a more usable LOP for me now while still being super compact.

Ive got more pics somewhere... Ill try to dig them up.
ah here we go
