James had me itching for it; the BAD-CASS is not quite drop in with Geissele and other aftermarket triggers but I got it to work no problem! Super slick looking and solid function.

Built a 16” Ultramatch rifle for my buddy today; Mod 3 billet upper and lower, 16” polished/fluted Ultramatch Mod 2 barrel (intermediate gas w/ Rainier adjustable gas block), Raptor CH, Rainier Match/enhanced nitride BCG, Fortis 14” rail and Leupold 1-4x20 VX-R Patrol scope

I’ll post more pics later but it’s sharp!! And super light. My buddy will be mounting a SpecWar can on it and the gas block was super easy to adjust

Not yet but I’ll be slapping it on quick! I adjusted that one easily and it felt great

Test fitting the gas block on the seat of the UM Mod 2 in my Stickman shirt!

The newest Mod2 barrels are marked opposite the Rainier logo on the bottom:

I'm glad they did this. I've asked them to mark what kind of barrels at least on the actual barrel itself, instead of at the base near the extension. Once you install it you have no idea whether it was a Match, UltraMatch, Rock Creek Match, ect. If you really wanted to know you'd have to take it apart and look for either the "M" or "S" markings. Maybe not a big deal to some, but if you have a few dozen RA barrels, or decide to sell yours down the road, it helps to have markings.

That should be mandatory on all barrels. I have so many different calibers I forget what's what. Trying to look through vents, keymod slots and the like gets to be a real pain in the ass.
