I don't know what would be considered a normal name for Star Wars characters.... But do you think the names of the new characters "fit" or align with the ones we already know? Or do they seem dumber somehow?

Very true(Count Dooku). I was secretly hoping that when Disney announced that they were doing away with the stories that were after the movies, that episodes 1-3 were included in that.

Right! Dooku.... Its not that I think that the names from the original trilogy are great. They are all kind of dumb. And I get that they had to come up with something, Han Solo (while sort of stupid) probably does play better than Bob Jones but still...

For once a company being all about making money has finally paid off.

It's easy to blame Jar Jar for how bad the Prequels are, but it ignores the main problem: George Lucas. The man can't write or direct (he admits he can't direct). He made some pretty good actors look terrible. I like Natalie Portman, Ewen McGregor and Jimmy Smits, and they looked awful.

What saved the Original Trilogy was the story for the first one was a straight forward hero myth, and Lucas didn't write or direct the second and third. He had too much control for the Prequels.
