OSS Suppressors

Anyone running or shoot an OSS Suppressor yet? As a left handed rifle shooter, the quest for less gas in the face has always been never ending. What I like about the OSS Suppressor is that it's not based on a traditional baffle stack design. Most of the gas blows out of the front of the suppressor.

The do drastically reduce gas to the face. Not quite as silent as some other cans out there but they do plenty and get even more effective when attaching more modules at the end.
Which pretty much suites their mission specific objective. Also, they take all their readings in testing at the shooters ear and not off the muzzle like normal numbers indicate.
Its definitely an interesting design and I think the system is a great advancement in the industry.

They are IMO the most advanced cans out there and may revolutionize the industry. The gas to face reduction is amazing, and the RTZ is second to none. I was completely blown away after shooting a couple when they did their tour. They may not be listed as quiet by DB as others as HardEight explained, but to the shooter they were much quieter than the Silencerco Saker or the Surefire Socom that was also present on the range, with drastic reduction is blowback gasses. The reduction of gasses means the most to me as I am a lefty.

These are looking to be a game changer. Is there a need for a device like a switchblock with these?

I guess an actual need would be subjective and rifle dependent. But for the most part, the ones I have seen them on, didn't require it.

Hen i held one, I thought they were large and heavy when you added on the modules. I think the main thing going for it in my opinion is not getting gas face. I'll probably wait for their next design.. hopefully equal or more efficient but in a smaller lighter package.
