It lets you center your scope to eliminate cant and level it parallel to the mount. I bought one of those too. It was one of those "why in the hell didn't I think of that things". Push it in between the flat of your mount, and the flat on the "bell" where the scope turrets protrude of (can't recall what that's called) When pushed in, your scope will be parallel to the tool and mount. No cant in the cross hairs. You do have to have enough space in the gap between the two for the tool to fit, but that shouldn't be a problem with most mounts. Pretty cool, huh?

You guys are killing it with these photos. Much appreciated.
I got to meet Voodoo_Man today while walking the show floor, which was really cool. All kinds of neat toys to fondle, as I'm sure you guys are seeing on all the news sites.
Mini-scout with Malkoff head and tapeswitch tailcap looks so tiny. The Malkoff head is both shorter and smaller in diameter than the KE1A, too, so that helps. I think it weighs a hair less, too. Will - Owner of Arisaka LLC - http://www.arisakadefense.com
