Originally I was just going to take photos with it on my SBR because I thought the sand colored rail would help it stand out better. Now that it's on there though, it's not coming off. It's my first Scout and I really like this setup.

I'm tempted to order a couple of more. I'll have to check my old Scout Light packages and see if I can find anymore tailcaps.

I got to meet Voodoo_Man today while walking the show floor, which was really cool. All kinds of neat toys to fondle, as I'm sure you guys are seeing on all the news sites.

Mini-scout with Malkoff head and tapeswitch tailcap looks so tiny. The Malkoff head is both shorter and smaller in diameter than the KE1A, too, so that helps. I think it weighs a hair less, too.

I agree. I received my Malkoff yesterday and can't believe how small the whole package is gonna be compared to my Defender.

I was able to compare my Arisaka/Malkoff Scout to a Surefire M300 yesterday. The Malkoff head is so much smaller.

I'm kinda sad i just figured out Arisaka is based in y state... as much as I travel to Garner to shoot with friends! (at both Range 37 and ENC )
