Out of curiosity, does Georgia have magazine capacity restrictions for rifles when it comes to hunting?

We are having some trouble with coyote population and deer fawn mortality right now as well as hogs, so I usually load up a 20rd mag just in case it's not deer I bump into but some states don't allow for that.
Yep, 5 round limit for deer. I'm pretty sure but not certain it's no limit for hog and yotes though. You'll see in the pick I got my little Stoner 5rnd in, for the money very good little mag.

Yeah, in maryland we are on a 5rd limit too, but you can use a bigger mag. Just load no more than 5.

ETA: actually looked up maryland law for clarification, it's actually 8 rounds and not 5. That's strange, being that md legislators are idiots.

This round has intrigued me, I might have to build an upper up once I get done playing with this .25-45 Sharps.

Nice kill OP, I'm hoping to tag a few in WV later this month with my ARs.

Chief Cornstalk WMA. I was going to hit up some private land near Point Pleasant, but that looks like it's going to fall through.

    Are you local?

I'm local to the eastern panhandle but I know some people down in Wyoming county, and a buddy if mine has a big lease down south I'm gonna try to get in with next year.

Nice. This will be my first time hunting in WV. Excited to tag some whitetail with the AR. We can't use them up here in Ohio, unless it's a .45ACP, .458 SOCOM, etc. upper (straight-walled pistol caliber rifles were just added this year).

    So, WV it is :)
