    Cabot Damacus 1911

At $35,000 it maybe a stretch hoping for a MrGunsNgear review.

Love the Damascus, but the gold is pure cartel cowboy.

I've noticed that all of these $10,000+ pistols are terrible looking. It seems like once you hit the $5,000 mark, going up in value means getting something gaudy. By the few thousand dollar range all of the mechanical function has been made top notch and they have to find other ways of adding value. It usually means making it from something that no one really wants, but is really expensive. I mean who really want meteorite 1911 grips?

I prefer my 10-8 grips, even though I don't know what that symbol is on them.

Honestly, I'd buy one and beat the balls off it for a few years, EDC just to see how it competes with the OEM.

Of course it might lose it to a good shoot, or two

i wouldnt say there is a nice SS camero lol but it's like anything else... how many people are wearing a $30-50k rolex or driving a $100k porsche/benz? You could get like 3 cameros for that price! If you have the money... enjoy it whether it's a $35k gun, $50k rolex, or $100k car, custom suits whatever...

I could get 3 PSA guns for the price of a KAC. I'll take the KAC everyday of the week.

A Timex will tell time like a Rolex, A Camaro will get you from A to B like a Porsche.

But there is just something about fine craftsmanship that you can either appreciate or not, and not everyone can.
