Maybe, as GOST suggested, someone will do a review on this soon, and that issue (clearance) will be addressed.
I already ditched all of my uppers with forward assist, so skinning my knuckles isn't an issue. I like the SLR, even more than the Raptor and Gunfighter, both of which are lightyears ahead of the standard charging handle. Some people have had issues with the SLR being too tight on their uppers and causing excessive wear. I haven't experienced that, but I could see how that could be an issue if your upper is on the thicker side of the spec. Looks like Mega has found a way around that issue, this should work on any thickness upper.

I just got my Tripwire CH from Sintercore last week. Pretty much the same as the Mega.

But the Armageddon is still my favorite. Just feels solid.

Prefer either to a regular latch type.

It's an ambi CH with less moving parts.

That's exactly what my last Mega build is missing.

The good thing is that it sounds like these shouldn't be terribly expensive. That's the thing that's kept me from getting more than one ambi charging handle. If this one is as good as other Mega products, this may be my new go-to CH.

MSRP is rumored around the $40 range.

Definitely interested. Mega could make all other charging handles obsolete.

Damn, even cheaper than the Mod4 Gunfighter. Can't wait to get one.
