No problem guys, we were spammed pretty hard for awhile, so the new filters sometimes take a little "extra" care sometimes. Good to have you guys aboard.

Guys Stick is putting it very lightly, the amount of spam we were getting hourly was taxing Moderators and Staff ability to keep up. Though we felt we were able to control it enough to not effect board members.

There really isn't a need to post to avoid being banned, but if you prefer to, no problem. A couple months ago we were absolutely drowning in bogus accounts created by spam-bots. A new protocol was put in place, which has essentially eliminated the problem. We had to go through the membership list and manually delete hundreds of accounts, many of which had links to on-line drugs, porn, etc. In the process, some legitimate accounts may have been inadvertently removed. If anyone feels that they fall into that category, they can contact me or any staff member here ("contact us" link, bottom of the page) and we will fix it. Sorry for the hassle guys.

OK , then for the record Im a real person with lots of interest in this place. So far Ive just been reading and learning . I wish I had a tenth of Stickmans photographic skills. Ill post up some pics of my mini arsenal soon. Peter

I have been lurking here for awhile and really like the reviews and Stickman's pics. This is a great sight and I joined today. Love the Shot Show 2009 Coverage! Stickman is a great photographer and no nonsense gear reviewer.
