my LGS (TGD Firearms, Pensacola, FL) had the Smith & Wesson Shields on sale for $300 OTD. I picked up a 9mm shield and 4 Anderson lowers at $50ea OTD.
Monday of last week ordered 3 "Freedom Rifle Kit" from PSA. My father would like 3 AR's for his boys for Christmas (heart attack got him scared he wont be around for long). Gave me a $1500 budget, $500ea obviously. The Freedom Rifle Kit includes a SS barrel of 1/7 twist, m4 feed ramps, mid-length gas, m16 carrier with C158 bolt that has been MPI/HPT, CH, LPK, stock kit, all inclusive excluding lower.
Lower Receiver $50
PSA AR Rifle Kit $399 + shipping
That will leave me approx $35-$40 each to finish within budget.
Hoping to be able to find rear sights and mags so my brothers can shoot their rifles on Christmas day. Where I already have 4, they have never owned one. I'm very excited for them.

as to why there are 4 (I just realized I didnt explain)...
I put a poly NFA lower under a Chiappa.22lr upper and it hasnt ran right since. I'm replacing the lower after the holidays. I will need a LPK to get the deal done. No rush.

Picked up an FN cold hammer forged 16" mid barrel and a troy low pro gas block to finish up my spikes build.
Also picked up a couple ipad mini's, a LG soundbar, and a truckload of toys. Most are gifts, but one of the iPads and the soundbar are for me 😊

Seen that Primary Arms has Troy battle mags for 7$ each. Anyone have experience with them positive or negative?

I probably spent too much on Black Friday deals. I didn't make any big purchases but plenty of small ones. I'm just listing the weapons related stuff here.

Had a couple, ran several thousand rounds through them. Never had an issue. Troy sent me some free mags with an order once, when they first came out. They were doing that for awhile to get their product out there. Not that I've looked hard or often, but I don't recall anyone having issues with the Troy Mags.
