75rd Chicom drum spring/rivet repair

I have a Chicom 75rd drum that a rivet has come off the winding spring.It is the outer rivet that has came off the spring. Has anyone repaired a drum with this issue? If so could you give me some pointers? I know throw it away and get another. I wish I could but I live in the peoples republik of kalifornistan. I am trying to GTFO out.But for now I am stuck here. Thanks

I want to yank the spring & either drill another hole for the rivet or install the rivet that came out. My main concern is getting the spring back in once I yank it out.
