The wait begins!
I finally got around to pulling the trigger on a can! Form 3 was e-filed yesterday.
SF Socom 762 Mini
It came down between this and the Saker. I ended up with this mainly because I want to keep my MK18 as close as I can to the real deal and plan on getting an 556RC ordered once they come back in stock. I know the Saker can utilize other mounts but wanted uniformity and this choice made sense to me.
I know some people say your first can shouldn't be a specialty can, but whatever.. if I need more I will get more later. This is going to switch back and forth on my MK18 and 300blk guns until the dedicated 556 can comes in.
anyone know the avg wait times right now? I am hoping to have this by April but not sure if that is wishful thinking or not...
I am excited to say the least!

Excuse my ignorance but what's the difference between a form 3 and a form 4?

Form 3 is for dealer to dealer transfer. Form 4 is the $200 tax transfer to an individual... Sorry UW, I was typing while you were posting

I wish it was only the Form 3 I also wish they would open up efile for form4's again. sheesh, wishful thinking!
I still need to finish up my 300blk so I think this wait will be much easier than my sbr F1 wait was, that was a brutal and agonizing 7 months

For wait time, from messages I have read is that if you e-file they seem to be getting approved within around 3 months. So, not too bad. Guys who have sent in their forms through snail mail have been having had to wait for about 9 months to get the tax stamp.

Freedom is NEVER Free. We have to work to protect it and even be willing to die to protect it.
