    Bobro Engineering Lowrider Sights

These super low profile sights were spotted at Bobro Engineering. They look to be both lightweight, 1.7oz for the pair, and so low, it clears most objective lenses on magnified optics.

We designed a set of sights that are truly low profile.

    Design requirements—

    1-Low as possible
    2-Durable
    3-Locks on opening
    4-Fits under optics/mounts
    5-Lightweight

We designed a side pivot mechanism for strength and the lowest possible profile that will remain durable. The side pivot has internal detents, and we also incorporated a drive pin lock system. You must depress a button to fold them back down.

At 1.7 oz. I'm guessing they're aluminum? Be interesting to see the pricing. Also wonder if they're lower profile than the MBUS PRO?

Yeah! Let's see some QDs. Then we can mount backups to our backup sights. BUBUIS security for the ultra paranoids.

I love bobro gear and Andrew is a good guy. However, these aren't something I'd buy except to solve a problem. The problem is obvious and if you don't have it, keep what ya got. My .02
