    Another Cheap Aimpoint Clone?

    http://hi-luxoptics.com/index.php/mi...ription_tabbed

Looks very much like the PA red dot with a few interesting additions.

Supposed to have 55,000 hours battery life and an integrated spare battery compartment.

    I wouldn't take that bet.

It does include some features that I wish that P/A would have. Plus a "limited" Lifetime warranty. I also like the killflash and tethered aluminum caps. Actually GOSt, the street price is only about $25 or so more.

Although the reviewer doesn't specifically say this, I believe he alludes to it's toughness as being on par with an Aimpoint. I have my doubts about that. Especially after yesterday when I found on PA's website that they emphatically stress that the PA is not on par with an Aimpoint for duty or combat use.

All in all, I think either would make a good all around sight.

Eerily similar to PA's, I also noticed Vortex's new 1-6x Strike Eagle looks a lot similar to PA's 1-6x as well.
