    762-SD Suppressor Testing

Here is a short collection of clips I put together to show how well the 2014 model of the AAC 762-SD performs. Started out with my 12.5" 223 SBR. Then moved to my 16" 277 Wolverine(look up Mad Dog Weapon Systems). Then my 9'' 300BLK SBR and finshed up with my 20" 308. I had a few issues with the 6.8 because I had just built it the night before and forgot to adjust the gas block prior to the video. I may try to do some more in depth on each one in the future. Thanks and enjoy!

Note: I had to re-shoot the 300BLK footage because my Camera decided it really didn't want to the first time...

A couple thoughts...nice lineup of rifles! I'm assuming you're using the Flash Hider mounts because of the audible PING on bolt closure, shots firing, etc. I had a friend use a 3/32 drill bit and put small holes through the prongs near the tip, in that little channel, and the ping goes away.

Also looked like being a lefty that 6.8 was wearing you out based on ejection pattern. Anyway to fix that other than an adjustable gas block? (Or being a normal righty????)

One last thing: I've heard the teeth on the suppressor latch wear out more quickly ratcheting the can on every time and holding the release down to secure the can up to the last few teeth is better for longevity. Maybe another AAC user can shed some light on that.

Sounds good!!! No shooting like suppressed shooting. Can't and wont go back!!!

    762-SD Suppressor Testing

Yes he's very jealous of my rifles and suppressors... Like he doesn't have a super sweet NTD sitting at home..

I didn't even notice the ping until you said something. If it bothers me I may try that, thanks!

I have a Adj gas block but forgot to set it prior to.. Those shots were also the function test shots.. Oops...

I try to hit the tab when I remember to reduce it but I didn't really think much about it that day. I don't mind having to send it in for repair if need be; however, I do hope that is a ways out...

Anyway glad you enjoyed it and I thought people might like to see how the newest version performs since there aren't any videos out there since it was redesigned.

Sorry just saw this. Haven't had the time to get any bench testing done. Hoping to in a couple months.

Sounds almost yankee to my Southern ears. Nice vid Medic, like that little Wolvie! Hopefully I won't be far behind if I could just make my mind up on which suppressor I want.
