Right-o. Paying $10 for a 4oz bottle of RCBS Case Slick was getting old. A 4oz bottle of lanolin is $9, and the 16oz bottle of 99% ISO was $3. So, 20oz of homemade lube for $12, or 4oz for $10...no brainer

I've been wanting to try that too. I have quite a bit of commercially made stuff still so I held off making another batch. Please let me know how it turns out and if it works as advertised.

99% ISO is the key. 97% is ok but definitely anything lower is going to require constant mixing up.

I've heard the 1:4 Lanolin to ISO is the way to go, but also seen 1:8. I've got 12oz of lanolin and 64oz of ISO, so mine is going to be more like 1:5.3

Otherwise, I'm going to experiment with spraying the cases on my reloading block and also dropping them in a ziploc bag with some lube in there and seeing what gets the best coverage with fewest sprays

I am with Uffdaphil about the sheep thing but, I make the same clean mix to lube cases as well.

I have two similar models of decapping automation tools. I'm hoping at least one of them can be programmed for case trimming, too.
