NRA RSO Course Question
Our gun club needed RSO volunteers, fairly badly I suppose, so I got scheduled for the NRA Range Safety Officer course.
I thought it would be a 2 or 3 hour course, but it's scheduled for 9 hours not counting a break for lunch, if I read the course info correctly.
Anyone that's done that, can you tell me what I should expect, and is it truly a 9 hr. course? I'm just curious. Most of the members I know live a wide radius around the club, so we're separated by quite a few miles, and I haven't gotten to talk to or see any of them during the winter here.
If you can tell me a little about the course, I'd be thankful and glad to hear it.
Thanks,

I took a local rso class. It seems like it was an all day thing, mostly CYA stuff. Probably had 2-3 hours of actual good content, the rest was legal fluff. I'm guessing the NRA class is similar.

I think Pyzik has NRA RSO listed on his sig. Maybe send him a PM FT, and ask him, or maybe he'll chime in here.
