16" 300 blackout
So... finally reached it and have gathered components for loading and half a pile of parts to start a 300 blackout upper. My first venture into a different caliber in the AR platform..Idea kinda started as my son has shown interest in hunting, so another excuse for a gun/upper.....Im Sure ill have some reloading questions and any good load combos to work up/play with...Will be shooting supers for now..No can..
BHW 16" barrel
parallax 13" M-lok rail with some Arisaka goodies
Parallax ADJ gas block-
Rainier carrier w/ NIB c158 bolt

I know i said no more unboxing pics......but had to take a quick pic today as i got a nice little mail call package today from what i call a good friend , a member here and knew him before..Good guy and thanks again man!
Had a rough couple weeks, my german shpeherd, which grew up side by side with my oldest son, he has been going down hill for a while now, 13 years old just about, and never whined , cried and still tried to come to the door, every day..but it was his time..had to put down my best friend last week and its been really tough going..So this made my day, not just the parts ..but the sticker brought a chuckle to my face..lol...
...So thought i'd bump this thread up..have had a few more pieces fall in since, and then got a nice surprise in the mail today.......im just about there..in having the upper completed..again thanks everyone...
lol...had to post it up..Last edited by mustangfreek; 12 May 2015 at 02:48.

I can imagine that's a tough situation to go through and I'm dreading our dogs getting older. They really become part of the family, especially like you said when your kids grow up with them. Your family will be in our prayers brother
Cool photos! Looks like this build is really coming together nicely

Sorry 'bout your buddy... it' tough, to be sure. I'm nearly there myself... my 12½ year old constant companion is almost telling me it's time and it hurts just typing this. They really get ingrained into your life, don't they?
On a happier note, awesome box o' goodies! Can't wait to see more.-----------------------------------------------

Did you decide on your optic? I'm building a 6.8 upper for deer season and went with a Swaro Z3. Great glass, very light weight, and designed for hunting applications.
