Thread: WEVO T&E Rifle

Was a great time. James brought quite a few pistols, too. We were ringing steel at 550 with the T&E rifle, no problem. Also got to shoot his Glock 43, VP9, and cute little M&P22 with a Warlock. I want to buy all three, and a .22 can now. :)
He's still on the road driving home, but I'm sure he'll comment and post some pictures when he gets settled. Will - Owner of Arisaka LLC - http://www.arisakadefense.com

It was an absolute blast and Will is a great guy! I'll update with pics and an updated impression as well. Hoping will does the same later this evening.

Didn't notice it before but I guess Dahmer arms isn't a big fan of ejection port covers.

I think round count on the T&E was:
40 rounds of my nosler 77gr loads (22.9gr tac, cci #41, cbc 5.56 brass)
20 rounds of wolf gold 55gr
20 rounds of tula steel 55gr
40-60? rounds of James' 55gr loads
It shoots really well, and it's easy to self spot because there's very little recoil. However, that comes at a price. The VG6 brake on it has massive concussion. Too bad the CAGE was waiting at home for James and didn't come yesterday, because we definitely needed it. I doubled up on earpro, and it was still uncomfortable to be around.
I think that's what brought out the Arcus and suppressors. The range also started getting busy, so it was difficult to hear the steel ringing down range over multiple shots along the line. Will - Owner of Arisaka LLC - http://www.arisakadefense.com

Here is some pics from yesterday meeting up with Will and letting him run the T&E as well as some of my other goodies. Overall I'm still very happy with the way the rifle is functioning. Any issues has been contributed to my ammo. I've tailored my ammo with suppressed shooting and with adj. blocks in mind. I did experience my first real Problem yesterday. I went to shoot my 12.5'' SBR and the first time I pulled the trigger it did a 3 round burst. Checked again and did the same. Figured out it is either the KNS pins, Dis-connector or hammer. The trigger is a QMS from ALG.
Anyway overall rifle is still running great and seems to be getting better as we go. We were shooting steel at 300 yards with so much ease we upped it to 550 yards. Did that with no problem even with a 10-15 MPH wind gust with a min of 5 at all times. We went from Wills 77gr ammo to my 55gr and then some box ammo. All did the 550 with ease. Will was even good enough to hit the 550 with 55gr Tula. My biggest complaint was and still is the concussion and loudness the VG6 has. I will say that its just a brake in general not just the VG6 I've ran a few rounds in the yard with the cage it it helps ALOT. Looking forward to getting with will again soon before I send the T&E back..

I'd like to note James' nice shutter timing on the pic where I'm shooting my 11.5. Brass + shadow. :)
Luis, the only downside to suppressed shooting is how dirty everything gets. Even the magazines get all blackened up. Oh, and it doesn't help that you end up with a 500+ degree tube on the end of your barrel that will melt/burn everything it comes in contact with, including your skin! Will - Owner of Arisaka LLC - http://www.arisakadefense.com
