Building a Mk18. Opinons on rail.

First post here.

Been looking at some of the builds here and wanted to try the sbr route. I'm planning on a Mk18 barrel 10.3" DD and have looked at 9.5" rails. There aren't a lot out there, but wanted some opinions on these or other options. I do not want a RIS II or any quad pic rail.

I want to cover the barrel as much as possible but still be able to mount a suppressor with QD methods. 9" rail is of course an option, but I really like the barrel covered.

What's horrible is the call of duty crowd that can't just use normal terms and has to dredge up acronyms that don't mean anything outside the mp name.

I agree, it's not a mk18 or CQBR, just a DD 10.3" barrel. Noveske chainsaw receiver set arrived and Form 1 filed yesterday (my first NFA paperwork, eform through a trust).

Kind of leaning towards the CMR. Thanks for the pictures UW.

BCM isn't a bad option. NSR is another for the 9" varients.
