The uppers out now that have a set screw instead of a roll pin for the forward assist are pretty good idea also.

I have a slick side courtesy of Stickman so I don't have FA... but I will have to check out those you are talking about.

    Who makes them like that?

I have never seen a trigger shaped like that one before. Certainly has a unique look to it.

What's your initial thoughts on it UW?

Clean break, but haven't used it enough to say either way. Definitely need more time with it.

I'm glad they didn't. I'm not a real big fan of the set screw bolt catch retention. Give me a roll pin any day.

Wish the Gen 3 Noveske were as nice as the early Gen 2.

I've got an early-ish Gen 2 (serial number in the 200s) and it's a beauty. There's definitely something special about the Noveske Gen 2 lowers.

I 've had 2 Gen 2 lowers and 1 Gen 3. My first Gen 2 was a chainsaw, and was immaculate. I can't say the that for the next 2 though.

I've got a few of the Chainsaw Gen 2s. Except for one with anodizing thats gray-ish in color, the defects i found were extremely minor and took a while to find. My Gen 3 was purchased as a complete rifle (from Rainier Arms coincidently), and it's flawless.
