    Trijicon Accupoint 1-6x24

The Trijicon AccuPoint 1-6x24 is going to be the scope that gives you that little extra magnification when you need it. After running your carbine all day at 1x you hit that stage where you have stop, breathe, and take that long shot. When you do, you’ll be glad you can dial it up to 6x. Whether the buck comes from the thick forest to your left or the cornfield to your right, you'll have the confidence to take the shot.

Our patented fiber optic post reticle is one of the quickest you’ll ever use. Utilize the Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) with both eyes open, line up the tip of the bright fiber optic triangle on your target, pull the trigger and your job is done.

Control the brightness of your fiber optic aiming point with the innovative illumination dial and have confidence with your shot placement in low light when the tritium kicks in. Use our 30mm rings or quick release mount to match your firearms platform.

I take it you've never paid for a Trijicon. MSRP on the 1-4x is $1200 and street price is around $950, so if the street price is $1200 that's not bad. Given the MSRP on a Vortex Razor HD 1-6x is $1999 street price is closer to $1500, so it doesn't appear Trijicon has went crazy with pricing.

I'm wonder if this is going to be better than the VCOG. I have 2 1-4 Accupoints, and like them, but don't love them.

There's a lot of competition at 1-6x so I hope it's better than the VCOG.

It has 6 models, each with different reticles.

Seems they finally realized a traditional reticle would be popular. What a crazy concept

I've been looking for a Lightweight 1-x optic, I'll have to see how 19oz compares but it's looking good :)

I have been waiting on this for some time. That MOA/dot crosshair reticle looks like the best of them.

Does that fiber optic "wheel" turn to vary amount of light entering?

Yes the filter controls how much illumination shines through. It use to be a wrap around on the 1-4 which I personally thought was more aesthetic, but couldn't be carried over to the 1-6 because of space.
