I'm happy to see a 1-6 and I like the fiber optic filter mechanism on paper. Proof will obviously be on range but coming from a 1-4 user I'm still a little disappointed in the reticles. We all hoped that they would release an acog or BDC type reticle. Then when I heard about the accupower I was really impressed with the 1-4 model with a BDC reticle but only offered in a 1-4 sadly no 1-6. I could see the new accupower replacing my tr24 on my patrol rifle but who knows. I was just really hoping for the dream 1-6 accupoint. I run a vortex razor 1-6 in 3 gun but find the weight noticeable, 3 gun sprints are one thing but holding on a perimeter or clearing a large building is another.

Who knows the dot/crosshair reticle May in fact work very well. I haven't used the dot models so I'm curious if the dot will be fast to pick up. One of the things I really like with my 1-4 is how fast and easy it is to find that triangle, it's almost just as fast as a red dot for me.

Looking forward to checking these out none the less.

Man, that's nice. Might be time to step up from my Vortex Viper PST.

Now this is even more promising. The Accupoint 2.5-12.5 x 42 with MIL DOT.

Oh yes, this definitely has my attention. 22 oz isn't bad, and the exit pupil at 12.5x will be fine in daylight. Price seems competitive when you consider they usually go for a couple hundred less than list.

That's significantly (10 oz.) heavier than their 3-9x40 which surprises me a bit. One of the advantages / selling points of the AccuPoints has been their light weight. It's not that 22 oz is terrible, but both of the Vortex PST 2.5-10 scopes weigh less (and weight isn't exactly one of the selling points of Vortex scopes), cost less (even the FFP version), and I personally like the reticles better. I did seriously consider the 3-9 Accupoint for my hunting scope but ultimately went with a Swaro Z3.

Look around Trijicon's newest offerings, I'm more intriqued by the 1-4x24 Accupower. Their MSRP is much lower than the Accupoints. Wondering if the street price will be sub $500 on those.

Saw where Stick has posted some pics of it. Tell him you need to borrow it.

I hadn't seen those. They do look good. Both the 1-4x24 and the 3-9x40 look good. The 56mm objective of the 2.5-10x56 seems a bit silly. 44mm might have had me interested.

Dropping the tritium to save on price, plus the new reticle choices tells me that Trij has been listening to the market. Good move. I suspect these will be popular.

I was looking a Stickman's FB page and noticed that it looks like Trij has a new 30mm QD mount. From looking at the release mechanism, I'm guessing Trij contracted with Bobro for these, which is a good thing.

I agree, it looks pretty damn good, even at that price. It'll blow the vortex out of the water.

I just ordered one of these mounts in 30mm. I really like that you can position the entire upper portion on the mount in one of 4 locations, giving you lots of flexibility to manage eye relief.

Those Bobro/Trijicon mounts are great. I've been using one on my Stickman rifle for quite a while now. I've been removing the scope every time I put the gun away since it won't fit into the safe otherwise, and it's held zero perfectly after 20+ mountings. Super easy to use too. I will definitely use these for any build I really care about.

    Weight is listed at 19.2oz

If that weight is legit I might seriously consider dumping my 1-6x Vortex Razor for the 1-6x Accupoint with the MOA Dot reticle.

Glad the 3-9x40 Accupower got brought up. I've been looking for something along those lines.

I was talking about the 2.5-12.5x, not the 1-6. :)
