Good AK style starter rifle?

The Circle 10 mags are still in production. K-Var seems to always have them in stock. Even during the last madness they were around.

$45 per magazine. Ouch. I guess it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. My reloads for .223/5.56 cost less than 5.45 ammunition, which is why I am asking about them. Plus, my reloads are going to be far more accurate than bulk steel 5.45.

Get a Saiga in 762 or 545 and convert it. Mine has been awesome. I'm going to get the barrel cut down soon and pin/weld a comp on it.

Like the VEPR shotguns. Got the gun for under $850 then spend almost the same on magazines. It pays in the end to stock up on mags before they become scarce. Then people really get stupid.
