Magpul ASAP Sling Mount

Magpul has released information regarding their upcoming sling mount, developed under the project name ASAP. As this item is not in full production at the time of this writing, its unknown if this will stay as the item name.

The ASAP mount incorporates antirotation tabs as well as the standard male plug which interfaces with the rear of the receiver. The mount allows for transition between shoulders as the rear mount permits the attachment point to slide back and forth. The ASAP should prove to be functional with any single or two point sling, and won't be exclusive to the new Magpul Dynamics sling offering (see other post for more information). I should point out that this is an EARLY prototype, and the production version will be a finished piece with minor modifications.

No time line has been given for actual product release.
