    Magpul front sight question

    Hi all,

Has any one encountered where it take 2 fingers on both side to release the Magpul front sight? It just started doing that on a new Fortis rail I installed. Is it because the width of the rail???

The rear sight is perfectly fine by pushing one side.

    Any advice?

Yes, I think it may require some breaking in with some wd40. I just use the center button instead. (new polymer blend possibly?)

its not stuck, the plastic is bending but the sight doesn't release. The right side works fine now, only the left sight, I just can't seem to figure out the physics when looking at it.

My Magpul MBUS sights deploy when left, right, or center are pressed. Maybe the mounting screw is too tight? They are polymer, and over-tightening the screw could distort them enough to cause binding when you're trying to deploy them.
