Joe Bob Outfitters Project
Originally this was a Joe Bob Outfitters Spartan set that was an unanodized receiver set. I was going to donate it to the WEVO Ginger, but he refused. I then got it cerakoted by Rainier Arms in Concrete. The same color as their RUC offering. Anyhow, I offered it to the Ginger again, and stubborn and as soul less Gingers are, he refused it yet again.
So.... I guess I'll have to turn this into something.

You need a pistol with a shockwave brace kit. You said yourself you haven't really messed with them in a while. Could be a good reason to you know. Especially with recent ATF/State changes there lol

That set looks great!
I could think of a number of things to do with it, but I'm with the ginger in that I don't have the money for a new build right now. It would be maybe a few months out before I could finish a build on my own.
But if YOU are building it... Just to change it up some maybe go for a precision AR set up ... always SBR SBR SBR around here
16" or 18" ultra match barrel from Rainier... nice trigger... a vortex 2.5-10x (or a night force or USO)...
Make an 'ultra' precision build and see what she can do....

Here is a 80% version of that in Sniper grey. .300 BO pistol. Mock up before trigger and safety showed up.

I think we need to start a non-profit for abandon AR components. "No Part Left Behind"
There is a serious growing problem in garage's and man cave's across America. The problem is surplus components, that stock bolt catch gathering dust in the junk drawer is just crying to be useful again. That "Spare" Milspec BCG is self conscious of her phosphate finish compared to the sexy E-BCG you just replaced her with and even Milspec BCG's need love too. Don't be part of the problem, be part of the solution and send all your surplus parts to me!
