Luis if you're wanting to do a Kino upper you may want to checkout either Rainier Arms' or MicroMOA's 12.5" mid-length barrels. With those the front sight base will be in the correct place for a Kino, and you'll not need the low profile gas block.

Thank you! I just need sights. :) It was on sale (%25 off). So financially it was the best choice. I believe it is a very good barrel and I am sure it will out perform my needs. I need to sync my schedule with my friend who has the tools. He is going to be my safety net, but I will do the work. It should be built by the end of August. :)

Thanks Luis. It's a great barrel. There were things about the Mountain series barrel I liked and things about this one I liked. Both good choices. It was on sale for $172.50 and free shipping. (With a Gas block) Hard to beat that deal. :)

I have just over 1k rounds through one of your 10.5" barrels from Aero. It's exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to possibly purchasing another with a pinned GB this time.
