You know I have nothing but love for you Luis, but 6 extra magazines and a 7lb EDC is nuts.

After reading about Luis's EDC It's got me thinking that most have insufficient EDC. I now think that nunchucks, throwing stars and maybe a monkey would be good ideas for EDC. Are there any other suggestions?

There's always reasoning for it, but that doesn't preclude if from being stupid.

I have weapons release authority and am trusted to move about over populated areas full of American citizens while carrying large caliber machine guns and missiles, and yet I'm not technically supposed to have a knife on my person when on base.
