    How long until sub $1,000 3D printers make it feasible to produce decent polymer lowers?

    I guess they think that this will prevent the exchange of the CAD files needed. Sintercore makes a 3D printed muzzle device out of inconel device called a 3DX. CMT also offered a class a while back where you could machine your own receivers:

    I'm surprised there isn't some silly legislation in the works trying to ban 3D printers. Imagine where the technology will be in 10-15 years.

    Where is MoxyDave when you need someone to chime up about 3D technology.

    I was under the impression that 3D printing wasn't the 'technical' problem with firearms. It was more the material being 3D'ed for firearm use.

    I also understand that historically 3D printing has been expensive but that it's getting way less so.

    I am not at all versed in it so I will wait for a more expert opinion to pop up.
