    7" handguard suggestions

I'm building a 300blk upper and I'm looking for handguard suggestions. I was leaning towards an SLR Solo Lite M-lok, but I want to see what else I may have missed.

    My only requirements are:

    • 7" long (or close to, see the next point)
    • It's going on an 8.5" barrel and I need to be able to mount my can (Silencerco Omega with ASR mount)
    • NO Keymod. I'd prefer M-lok, but I'm open to other options
    • Upper is a Lantac UAR, so I'd like something good quality.

GOST says I have a Mary Poppins fetish but that guy has one heck of a hodge and wedge lock fetish.

That is a great option but I'm really liking the 11" solo light MLOK SLR I have. Looks good with a 12.5" barrel so same idea you're going for...

I used to have a 10" Solo Lite on my 10.5" SBR. One thing I love about the SLR (and Geissele) hardguards are the ridges. They make me feel like I have something to grip. The Wedge lock looks good though, and I do like the feel of the MML (I think they'd be similar).

I used a KAC URX for 3.1 my 300, but unless you're a diehard KAC fan I wouldn't recommend it. It's nice but a pain to install. I wish I would've went with the SLR instead but it's already painted so it'll be that way for a while.

Does Geissele even make a 7" Handguard?

Samson Evo 7" Free Float $145. Uses factory barrel nut, no special tools required
    http://www.samson-mfg.com/mm5/mercha...Code=EVOLUTION

I wish Rainier still carried the older version of the Samson Evo that used the factory barrel nut. The newer ones are too fancy for me

Midwest Industries makes a nice Gen 2 SS 7"

I think I bought literally the last 7" EVO they had. I'll have to see if it's a discontinued item.

The blem section has been deleted from Geissele's site. The stuff sold out the day that they announced the sale.

Unless they're making something new 9.5" is the shortest length.
