Which barrel did you get? If it's the same as mine it's one heck of a shooter with good match ammo. One hole groups at 50 yards.

FWIW I think Federal discontinued the Federal Ultra Match 22 LR line... that sucks because my rifle loves that stuff.

16.5" Ultra Lightweight Fluted w/ threads. My Rugged Occulus should be getting out of jail in the next ~2 months, so needed to upgrade the factory barrel.

But I just realized the factory guide rod is crimped, so I just ordered a new bolt handle (also from Kidd), too, so I can use the new guide rod and spring kit.

Kidd stuff is awesome. I built a Kidd 10/22 from the ground up. Magpul stock and Vortex optic. It's a fun shooter. I have the Kidd Lightweight, not the Ultra Lightweight. Great stuff.

Gonna try the adjustable block dealio. Swapped nitride for NiBx BCG. Also got some goodies for the Walther P22 from Galloway Precision; captured guide rod makes maintenance suck less and +5 followers are a drop-in replacement as well.

Even the mag skins turned out decent-looking for a first attempt. They offer a lot of camos that match Axlnut's work.

The only issue I have with the AR15 Mag Skins....the price, the wife did get me 2- 3packs for Christmas 2 years ago.

Like I said, on sale, with first responder discount ain't bad. I'm not going to cover every mag I own, but its cool for a little zing here and there. Gotta do something to set yourself apart, and pink ain't in my color wheel.

Finally found a really good company locally for Cerakote, and the also do great laser work. 4Bush Weapons Refinishing Systems in Arnold, MO.
