Here's what I know so far:

- 12 gauge O/U Beretta Model AS 12E (pre-model 90 I think. Some think the forge stamp puts the gun at a manufacture of 1959 but I'm still waiting on confirmation of that fact)
- 28" barrels with 2 3/4" chambers
- Kersten style (sliding cross bolt) action lockup

- Top barrel is choked to 0.680" diameter
- Bottom barrel is choked to 0.700" diameter.
- Full over Modified or maybe Extra Full over Improved Modified? (Finding out that the barrels have different chokes makes the double trigger option make a lot more sense)

- barrels are made of chrome-molybdenum steel
