Anytime I buy from Rainier, I make an online order, so they charge me my local rate 8.5% vs 10.1% when you're actually in the store.

    Sales tax... out of control.

That's just a given around here.

I'm generally a fan of consumption taxes. Everyone pays, if you don't want to pay it, buy less stuff.

Come on now, a little bump to pass keeps the blood flowing......

Plus like said, order online thru active junky for a few % back and then wevo code at checkout..makes for a good fair price most times..

I'm digging the blue ring in the front. Don't have the slide yet, hopefully next week.

NightFission is awesome. I love their Accur-8's. When I asked about the blue (seemed like an odd, unconventional color) they told me they actually made it thinking of people who are red/green colorblind and have issues with what we think of as more conventional front sight colors. Smart.

For 70 bones, this did a nice job. It's intuitive and with a flat and angled surface, it covers pretty much every need I have for installing rear or front sights.

    Attachment 6402

Installed my pif sights quickly and easily.

Looks good. Does it have some kind of brace/mount to hold the slide in place like the glock sight pushers do? Can't quite tell from the pic...

That looks nice. Mines a piece of crap and I don't know why I haven't thrown it away yet. I need some new sights for my H&K. Can I ask where you got it?

Yes, the bottom plate and recessed set screws with nylon rods to secure the slide very well. They recommend using strips cut from an old credit card to eliminate the chance of marring the slide (in addition to the nylon rods), I used them as well as some low tack green tape.

Tom: I got it on Amazon, and it's sold by washingtongunworks.com

The frame is billet aluminum, the pusher screws are tool steel, the pusher is stainless, and everything is adjusted with the single, included allen wrench. You get one angled and one 90 degree pusher milled on the same block. Pretty ingenious and elegant device that puts the expensive ones to shame with its quality and attention to detail.it is not a potential wonder by any stretch: its heft will impress you for the size of the thing. 5 stars as of one use, but I can tell by looking it's going to work on all of my sights.

Sig owners take note: the P series slide might not fit d/t it being so tall.
