The Bravo FR glove is expected to be a game changer, improving upon all of the industry-leading features introduced by the PIG FDT Alpha Glove. Simply put they will be the most dextrous fire retardant gloves available for tactical applications.

Featuring full Nomex® and premium leather construction, the Bravo FR glove includes hundreds of hours of development and testing. These gloves are currently worn by various US Special Operations forces across the globe. For those who need a fire retardant tactical glove option and already love the fit and feel of PIG Alpha gloves, the Bravo FR glove is the perfect kit addition.

So given this thing is still (presumably) thin to help with touch, how much does it help with heat? Or does it not help any more or less than the Alpha gloves, except now it won't melt to my skin if I get it too hot?

Be it shooting ("quickly" at the range) or in my day job, I don't even bother with the issued Nomex gloves anymore because they've become such crap and fit so poorly. My Outdoor Research Fingerless FR gloves are choice for the day job, but wasn't sure how much these Bravos will help with heat on the weekend range.

Regardless, thanks for nothing. Now I'll have to buy a new set of Bravos to try out!
