I don't think I've even see many NQRs for sale. And the ones I have seen on the secondary market are out of my budget. I think for the money the Ris II is a better railsystem for most people.

And drat I thought I could convince you with that speech. I guess I'll just keep waiting :D

I think the RIS II is a superior rail system, hands down. If Daniel Defense still made the GL/SSC RIS II and sold it to the public, i wouldn't much care about the NQR. I want one for my 12.5" upper. The GL/SSC is what i really want. But the only one i've ever seen "in the wild" was in some of Stickman's photos. I don't expect i'll ever find one for sale, but i keep looking none the less.

And you get an A for effort on your speech. I doubt you'll be waiting as long for a 10.5 Switchblock upper as i will for a GL/SSC.

Well I wish you luck with the search. I've practically given up thinking I'll find a 10.5 switch. I think I'll be content just re-creating the concept with a DD barrel, geissele rail and SLR adjustable gas block. The big advantage I saw with the Noveske was the robustness of the switchblock system, but I think the SLR adjustable gas block has overcome some of the shortcomings of other "setting type" adjustables. Time will tell though

You gotta be quick when they come up for sale. ROG Tactical had some as recently as November, if i remember correctly. I was tempted to pick one up, since it had a CHF barrel and mine is stainless. You'll be the first to know if i ever see one pop up for sale someplace.

The FDE one is still my fave, but I plan to build out that 9.15" NQR with a 10.5" CHF Lo Pro Barrel

Hot stuff! Those would sell like crazy if they'd ever make it to market. I missed out on a take-off 11" NQR by minutes not too long ago. I'm still pissed about it lol. I'd dump the 11" NSR on my 12.5" upper in a heartbeat for an NQR.

That FDE rifle is damn sexy btw.
