My WEVO/Rainier build
I figure I got my investment back from my Apex membership! I should get a team jersey for all the Rainier logos on this gun.
So I think I've finally gotten this one just about the way I want it. A big box came today and what better way to spend the afternoon than in the basement shop slapping together rifle parts? :) I was curious about the RECCE Rifle spec I've been seeing all over the place, so that's what I decided to go with. Final things to button this up will be a SSA-E trigger and an Micro T-1. Goona do some shooting tomorrow if I can shake this stomach bug. Oh yeah, had to take to vomit breaks. Hows that for dedication? Does anybody resist the call of parts waiting to be assembled?

Looks great. Love that rail and their super GBs. The SSA-E is awesome, well worth the money in my opinion... Probably my favorite overall trigger group

Personally the ssa-e (albeit a fine trigger, and I love mine) wouldn't fit that build for me. At least for me that trigger is better suited to my precision gun (read: shooting groups)
Fantastic build by the way.

Well, if he's shooting groups with a t1...
Im not trying to persuade anyone into anything I'm just stating for my use on a gun like that that wouldn't be my trigger of choice even though I love that trigger.
Anyways, sorry for the hijack. Back to regularly scheduled programming.

A tall one! Stock lower 1/3rd, or a bobro. Not even sure about the T-1, maybe a T-2 or Comp M4. The thing I like most about red dots is you don't have to be perfect and its not as picky about being close to the bore. I am looking at 1x4x, or 1x6x scopes as well. I do the range thing, but I prefer getting out in the open and plinking far more. Finding something interesting to shoot at, like a bigass pine cone, or a varmint is a lot more entertaining to me. Sometimes I shoot purely for the "Fucking KA-BLAMM!" sound, and other times, I shoot for the discipline, although the noise is always satisfying. :D
Ride4frnt: Which trigger would you suggest? Plain SSA? I'm all about constructive criticism, so please dump it in.
And thanks for all the great comments, fellas! There's no "Team" in F**K YOU!

I have a Vortex, but I should have just saved for the Aimpoint. Not taking anything away from the Vortex glass and warranty, but once I decide I like something, nothing else will do. UGH!
