Got em! They are going on the Ultramatch Battlekitty until the SMOS build materializes.

They look good..
Always wondered on like these or the steel magpuls -never played with any- but how solid are they , I mean to deploy or flip back in, sturdy or just tight enough?
Stupid question maybe and hard to word ..lol..

They're easy enough to deploy, IMHO, and snap into position with a nice, solid "click". They do not lock in the deployed position like Troys do, so there is a possibility that you'll close them if they're bumped.

To me, that's a feature rather than a flaw. I'd rather they fold, than bend, or snap.

It is what it is for me. They stay up and don't move while i'm shooting. That's really what matters to me. That said, i've never bent, snapped, or otherwise damaged a deployed Troy sight by banging it into something so again, not really an issue for me.

A lot of people wouldn't survive the seizure associated with seeing their rifle hit the ground. In that respect, it's cheap insurance.
