    New from Troy Industries

I haven't seen any mention on this site. Actually the only one I did see was the new Diamond Head

They have new panel covers as well.

I have to say I like their new website as well. I had issues when ordering from their old one which screwed up my order. Looks like the new one is organized much better. Also looks like they dumped the Counter Sniper optic they were trying to sell after SHOT '08 as well. [puke] Seems the new partner, Premiere Reticle is more forthcoming about their history/industry work. Although they're $$$.

The aluminum VFG line certainly looks interesting. Can't really tell if the mounting configuration is a step forward or not, but I do like the idea.

I spent a good amount of time in the TROY booth at shot show..
The Diamondhead battle sights are high on my Wish List. The VFG is also has a good feel to it.. I like metal feel of it, and it definitely has texture..

I also have the only pics of the new TROY hat coming out..
The Pic on their website is a rendering..

Not to fixate, but in taking another look at these VFGs, it occurred to me that we do not yet have a "VFG Guide" here on the site -- might be a good project for a bit later in the year.

Although I'm more of a folding rear BUIS kind of guy, the Rear Fixed Battlesight looks promising. The details on their web page are a bit thin, but it looks like the same plane aperture is used, which is more practical for what I do.

That fixed sight is a pretty good looking unit, I like what they did with it.

AC- Yes, a VFG guide should probably get done at some point.
